WHY CHOOSE AN ELECTRIC TRACK LINEAR ACTUATOR?

Outdoor applications for standard linear actuators
RODLESS

As motion is achieved by moving along a track, our track linear actuators are rodless; they have the advantage of travelling the same distance as a standard actuator but without altering the dimensions of the device.

FIXED MOUNTING POINTS

When implementing these linear actuators with a track into your project, the length and width of your actuator is fixed, allowing you to set fixed mounting points for your application that won’t be deviated from.

LONG STROKE

Ranging from 2” to 60” in our PA-18 model, this long stroke electric track linear actuator has a wide scope of strokes to suit a large variety of applications.

OUR TRACK LINEAR ACTUATORS

In comparison to all our other linear actuator types, our track linear actuators are the most different in their physical design. Instead of a push rod or stroke extending and retracting from the housing of a linear actuator, track linear actuators run along a fixed carriage or ‘track’ that has a predefined path for force. This key difference in their methods of motion are what make track linear actuators so unique and therefore, quite specific in the types of applications they can be integrated with. They are particularly compatible with indoor applications due to their low IP rating however, a key advantage for these actuators is their fixed mounting points, for projects that have set dimensions. Our catalog has both a mini track actuator in the PA-08 and also wide stroke ranges from 2” to 60” in our PA-18. Feedback is also optional for these linear actuators, giving you further positional control when operating.
